Whenever someone knocks at the door, we can all take comfort in the knowledge that we can see who it is by looking through the peephole.
However, it turns out that there are actually some devices out there for sale that allows bad people out there to “reverse” the image and actually look through a peephole from the outside. And even scarier, they can actually look straight into your house if you’re not at home!
Thankfully, these two women have come up with a pretty genius solution to this scary issue. Using just popsicle sticks, glue, and duct tape, they’ve made an adorable mini barn door that will block out any prying eyes!
All you’ll need are:
- Jumbo popsicle sticks
- Glue
- Duct tape
- Moldable glue
- Metal clothes hanger
- Wooden flat head plug
- Wood stain
- Lego gray half pins
- 1X4 Lego black tile
- Small spoked wheel from Lego
While it’s not very normal to have a DIY project that involves Lego toys, this project shows just how helpful a child’s toy can be!
