All About Walker Hayes and Wife Laney Beville Hayes
Every great guy has a terrific woman standing at his side. Whether it’s country star Walker Hayes or his wife, Laney Beville Hayes, who has been married for almost 18 years, it is clear that this saying holds true.
There have been good times and bad for Walker and Laney. They rejoiced in triumphs like “Fancy Like’s” record-breaking popularity, but they also supported one another through difficult times like the death of their daughter, Oakleigh Klover Hayes, who died tragically.
What happened to Walker and Laney Hayes’ youngest daughter?
On December 16, 2006, Walker, a trailblazing country performer and a happy parent, became a father for the first time. With Laney, he and Lela have Chapel, Baylor, Beckett, Loxley, and Everly, all of whom are between the ages of 7 and 9. Lela is the 16-year-old creative behind the TikTok dance for “Fancy Like,” while Chapel is between the ages of 13-14.
On June 6, 2018, Laney Beville Hayes and Walker Klover had their first child, Oakleigh Klover. She died on the same day that I did. The Hayes family was deeply affected by the event. In a series of People interviews in 2018, Walker and Laney discussed the tragedy. Oakleigh Klover died as a result of a uterine rupture, according to the family.
A uterine rupture occurs when the uterine wall is torn apart. The mother and baby are in danger because of the condition. In order to save Laney’s life, she underwent an emergency caesarian section. It was a blessing in disguise that the physicians were able to preserve her life. They tried everything, but they couldn’t save Oakleigh Klover.

That’s what Walker told People, and it caused him a lot of stress because he was expected to inform Laney what had transpired. The question on Walker’s mind was, “What do I do?” he asked. “‘How will I be able to tell Laney when she comes to? ‘How am I supposed to convey that it’s a girl who died?’ I knew Laney would be devastated by that. In spite of everything, I honestly really hoped today wasn’t going to be the worst day of my life.”
Walker continued, “Laney and I have both cried a lot.” “However, one thing that has made me the happiest is the outpouring of affection that has occurred in our immediate vicinity. People in our area and at meet-and-greet lines have been incredibly generous in answering our queries and offering suggestions. ““Thank you for sharing,” I think to myself when people approach me and open up about their lives. These individuals don’t even know who I am.”
The ability to interact with other families who had experienced similar things, according to Walker, was a huge assistance. Walker has also been able to use his platform to show that couples who have lost a baby aren’t alone in their experience. Walker: Just a few weeks after losing their daughter Oakleigh Klover, Walker debuted a new tattoo of a small foot on his forearm on June 23, 2018.
In honor of Oakleigh Klover’s spirit, Walker wrote the song “Six on Earth, One in Heaven”
In the first part of 2022, Walker released a new song called “Six on Earth, One in Heaven.” He paid tribute to Oakleigh Klover with it.

Walker’s daughters appeared in a TikTok dance to his song “AA” that went viral near the end of 2021. He lip-syncs the lyrics to the song with his daughters in the video. Everywhere you looked, people were doing their own versions of the dance!
