A woman who has previously left homeless after an abusive relationship ended is now living a lavish lifestyle thanks to wealthy men.
Club promoter and aspiring singer Jeanmarie Almulla, 26, from Miami, has received gifts worth up to $500k (£357k), including diamonds, two Rolexes, $20,000 (£14,300) in cash, designer bags and luxury holidays from ‘sugar daddies’ she met online.
Jeanmarie decided to join the dating website ‘Seeking Arrangements upon leaving college at age 22 four years ago in 2014 and hasn’t looked back since.
The decision came after the professional dater found herself living in a car after coming out of an abusive relationship and turned to the site for help.
Now Jeanmarie, who comes from a strictly religious background, lives in a waterfront penthouse and is regularly inundated with gifts from her long-term sugar daddies.
Reflecting on her journey to becoming a ‘successful sugar baby’, Jeanmarie described how the breakdown of an abusive relationship left her broke and homeless.
‘I had nowhere to go, and I remember my friend saying, “you have to go on this site; there will be so many wealthy men who will help you out”, she told The Sun.
And despite initially having her doubts, Jeanmarie decided to take the plunge and try it out.
‘My mum is Catholic, and my dad is Muslim, so I come from a strict background, and I wasn’t sure at first, but I was like, ‘screw it, I have nothing to lose, she said.
Jeanemarie Almulla described her first date as being with a ‘recently divorced Jewish man’, who ‘plonked $1,000 (£716) on the table’ after she shared her story with him.
Within weeks she had gone from sheltering in her car to living in a $2,500 (£1,790)-a-month waterfront penthouse and using the site as a full-time job.
And the dater admits her life ‘got better after that, as she started to enjoy dates with older men from all backgrounds.
She was soon inundated with Gucci handbags, wads of cash, and even diamond rings, as well as being flown around the world by private jet.
Describing the sugar daddies as being above 40, wealthy, and sometimes married, Jeanmarie explained that she prefers to commit to long-term arrangements and views her relationships the way she would a normal one.
‘You have to get to know someone before you get intimate with them,’ she explained, adding that she never feels pressured into getting physical. Jeanmarie has become somewhat of a mentor to other girls aspiring to follow in her footsteps. But she advises them against getting physical too soon, telling them they are ‘better than that.
And the aspiring singer, who is sometimes flown out to auditions in LA by her sugar daddies, is firm in her beliefs that the arrangement is more than a physical one. Describing her clients as men who are often wealthy and alone in the world, she believes it is her role to help them feel less lonely.
But she warns against committing to men who don’t have the sugar baby’s interests at heart. Explaining that a sugar daddy should also be a mentor, she reveals she is fussy about who she goes into an arrangement. But when she finds a good match, Jeanmarie enjoys the highest of luxuries, explaining that her time doesn’t come cheap.
On a recent trip to her Dubai, she found herself being waited on by three maids, a driver, and unlimited champagne, describing it as any girl’s dream. Explaining that she believes a woman should be taken care of and not lift a finger, she concluded: ‘A man should be a man and woman should be a princess.’
While we pride ourselves as a website full of crazy things we find across the internet, this story was that definitely caught our attention. We will let the reader draw their own conclusions about what happens between older rich men and women like this. A little research about the website Seeking Arrangements confirmed all of the suspicions we had.
