Noella Bergener is the newest member of Season 16 Real Housewives of Orange, and she’s already causing trouble. Noella has found friendship in Braunwyn’s archnemesis, Gina Kirschenheiter after falling out with ex-RHOC star Braunwyn Windham-Burke. Noella, later on, becomes involved in a feud with OG housewife Heather Dubrow after she calls her “fake b—.”
The drama between Noella and her co-stars is messed-up, but it doesn’t even compare to the beef she has with her estranged husband, James Bergener, who served her divorce papers from Puerto Rico. There are many unanswered questions about Noella and her husband, but did he have an affair?
It appears that Noella and James were not in the same marriage. Since their split, they’ve made allegations that tell two different stories. Noella claims that after their divorce, James abandoned his family to flee Puerto Rico. However, he vigorously denied it.
There has been a lot of speculation about infidelity in Bergener’s marriage. James says that Noella previously admitted to cheating on him. However, Noella said that it was James who stepped outside of their marriage. It’s unclear whether or not James cheated on Noella, but he does have an unfortunate history of extra-marital affairs.
It is alleged that James cheated on his ex-wife, Amy Bergener, with Noella for three years. The couple’s first met online, and their love story began at the Ritz, which cemented their five-year relationship and subsequent marriage. After 15 years of marriage, James filed for divorce from Amy in 2018. In 2019, Noella and James welcomed their son via surrogate and legally married the following year. The couple bought a house in Puerto Rico months later. James left his wife virtually homeless, but he claims they always planned on moving to Puerto Rico.
James wrote on his Instagram, “Noella Bergener has used social media and television to [publicly shame James for emotional and financial leverage]. Our goal is to provide the public with the facts related to James Bergener’s ongoing divorce from Noella Bergener. James and Noella moved their family to the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico in late 2020. They were granted permanent residence in January 2021. James and Noella signed documents, under penalty of perjury, stating they intended to reside in Puerto Rico permanently.”
Some people say that James relocated to the island because he want to dodge divorce laws in California. James is going through a tough time. Not only does he need to deal with the ongoing divorce settlement, but now there’s also this $5-million federal lawsuit. The fate of their love story is uncertain. There’s no telling how it will end, but until more information becomes available about them both- Noella and James have plenty to explain.
