The fast-food industry is always looking for ways to get people’s attention. After the recent success of collaborating with celebrities, Burger King has officially jumped on board this trend by launching its new “Keep It Real Meals” campaign. The Burger King is taking another step on its journey toward delivering “real food” with stars Nelly, Anitta & LILHUDDY.
What is Burger King’s “Keep It Real Meals”?
Burger King has enlisted some of the most well-known celebrities to hand-select food from its “real menu” in order for them all to create meals worthy of their own names. This means all three of these artists are now going by their real names for a limited time in honor of this promotion.
The Cornell Haynes Jr. Meal (Nelly) – consists of a classic flame-grilled Whopper, topped with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mayo, and ketchup, and accompanied by a small Sprite and small fries.
The Larissa Machado Meal (Anitta) — is an Impossible Whopper with lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, and mustard, with a small Sprite and small fries.
The Chase Hudson Meal (LILHUDDY) – a hand-breaded Spicy Ch’King with cheese, four mozzarella sticks, and a 16-oz chocolate shake.
Burger King is giving customers what they want with the limited-edition “Keep It Real Meals.” These unique meals are made of real food while keeping Burger King’s signature.
Chief marketing officer Ellie Doty said, “We know our guests’ expectations are changing, and they want to make choices they can feel good about. By banning these 120 ingredients from our food, we’re offering guests an easy choice — delicious food made with quality ingredients. We’re confident that our ongoing commitment to real food will not only provide guests with the food they’re looking for but also set a standard for the industry overall.”
