Arnold Schwarzenegger is the epitome of versatility. He started out as a professional bodybuilder, moved on to get his acting career off the ground (and eventually soar), became an author and businessman, got into politics in California for seven years before becoming Governor there — all while staying active in philanthropy throughout it all!

Arnold Schwarzenegger, a teenager at the time, began weight training when he was just 15 years old. He went on to win Mr. Universe five years later and then won his first of seven consecutive Mr. Olympia titles in 1970 at age 22! This bodybuilding legend is still widely regarded as one of the best all-time even today by fans around the world.
At age 35, Arnold Schwarzenegger became an international star after starring in Conan the Barbarian in 1982.
In 1986, Arnold Schwarzenegger married Maria Shriver. The couple went on to have four children: Katherine, Christina, Patrick, and Christopher. In 2011 it was revealed that he had a third son named Joseph with his housekeeper after ending his second term as Governor of California in 2011.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is very close with all of his children, but it’s obvious that Katherine and Christina are some pretty special girls. The former California governor says they’re “absolutely stunning” — even though their dad isn’t exactly a looker himself!
In 1977, Arnold Schwarzenegger was attending the Robert F. Kennedy Tennis Tournament when he met television journalist Maria Shriver and fell in love with her at first sight.
Maria’s mother, Eunice Kennedy Shriver was the sister of three influential politicians: John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, and Ted Kenedy who were all born into a political family with her brother-in-law being president at one point in time too!
Arnold and Maria fell in love, married on April 26th of 1986, all at the young age of 22.
Three years later, on December 13th, 1989 Katherine Eunice Schwarzenegger was welcomed into the world.
Eighteen months after, Maria had another daughter.
Christina Schwarzenegger was born in Los Angeles, CA on July 23, 1991.
Maria and Arnold had two more children, sons Patrick and Christopher.
Arnold Schwarzenegger and his housekeeper, Patty Baena had a secret affair for many years. Arnold didn’t know that her child was also his until five days after when baby Christopher came into the world.
Now, Arnold has a close relationship with his children. He loves them and wants to spend time with them all of the time!
His daughters have begun to make names for themselves in the professional world. This makes him especially proud because they are following their dreams and doing what they love despite any obstacles that life may present them with.
Katherine attended the University of Southern California. In 2010, she published her first book.
In her book, Rock What You’ve Got: Secrets to Loving Your Inner and Outer Beauty from Someone Who’s Been There and Back, she encourages young women everywhere to be confident in themselves.
In 2014, Katherine wrote another book. This time it was titled: I Just Graduated… Now What?: Honest Answers from Those Who Have Been There” and its purpose is to give tips for graduates on how they should start their life after high school or college completion.
Katherine also wrote Maverick and Me, a children’s book that has been immensely popular. At 27, she already established herself as an author!
Although Katherine struggled with body image during adolescence, it’s obvious that she is absolutely beautiful on the inside and out.
She also has a very special relationship with her sister, Christina.
Christina may not have written any books, but that doesn’t mean she hasn’t had a successful career.
She doesn’t share her professional work on Instagram, but she shares a lot of family photos.
Christina is proud of her family and everything they’ve accomplished.
She posts a lot of throwback photos of her siblings and parents.
Christina is a remarkable woman. Despite having lived her life in the public eye, she still values family as something that should be protected and loved unconditionally.
I can’t believe how stunning this family is!
Although Maria and Arnold ended their relationship in 2011, officially divorcing in 2017, it’s clear that they instilled good family values within their children.
Their kids are the definition of a support system, constantly having each other’s back.
One fan asked Arnold, “Of all the things you are famous for, which are you least proud of?” He responded that he was most ashamed of his mistakes and what they did to hurt his family and split them up.
Despite his personal failings, Schwarzenegger’s kids are generally well adjusted and have bright futures ahead of them.
